TUESDAY

-5:40 p.m.: assault. Deputies responded to a report of assault at the Miami County Jail on West Main Street in Troy. A male inmate will be charged with assault.

-12:24 p.m.: disturbance/fight. Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance/fight in the 2300 block of DeWeese Road in Staunton Township.

-8:02 a.m.: theft. Deputies responded to a report of theft at Dollar General on south State route 201 in Bethel Township. Approximately 20 propane tanks were stolen overnight.

-12:06 a.m.: drug possession. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on southbound Interstate 75 in Concord Township. The driver was found to be in possession of marijuana.
