A number of Miami County swimmers qualified for this week’s district meet over the weekend.
DIVISION I
Troy’s Gwen Moore qualified in two events in the girls competition.
Moore has the 10th fastest time in the 500 freestyle, 5:14.51 and 18th fastest time in the 200 freestyle, 1:59.01.
Megan Robinson is an alternate in the 100 breaststroke, 1:18.14 and Kiley Kitta is an alternate in 200 individual medley, 2:29.09.
The Troy girls had all three relay teams qualify.
The 200 freestyle has the 14th fastest time, 1:45.06; the 400 freestyle relay has 21st fastest time, 4:06.83 and the 200 medley relay has the 24th fastest time, 2:00.44.
Piqua’s Libby Bradney qualified in the diving, with the eighth best score, 367.85.
Troy’s Andrew Oates advanced in both the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley in the boys competition.
He has the 12th fastest time in the 100 breaststroke, 1:01.55 and the 24th fastest time in the 200 IM, 2:04.87.
Piqua’s Josiah Hutchinson is an alternate in 100 butterfly, 57.06.
