WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union Public Library, located at 560 S. Main St. in West Milton, is offering a number of programs in March, including a number of regular, weekly events in addition special events.

Milton-Union Public Library events for March:

• Crafty Listeners are hold every Monday at 1 p.m. This Audiobook Club works on individual craft projects while listening to music or an audiobook. Feel free to bring lunch or snacks. • Tiny Tots is held every Tuesday at 11 a.m. Newborns and toddlers with caregivers are invited to enjoy the fun of listening to a book, finger plays, music, and other fun movements.

• Story Hour is held every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Join Miss Wendy for a story, singing, dancing, and fun movements.

• The Pinterest Craft of the Month event will be held on Tuesday, March 8, at 6 p.m. Registration is required. Join Stephanie for the Pinterest Craft of the Month where they will be making Clay Pot Leprechaun Hats. The tutorial video will be posted at 6 p.m. on the library’s Facebook page. • The Evening Book Club will be held Thursday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. Adult readers are invited to join Staci for a book discussion over “The Honey Bus” by Meredith May. Books are available in the library, through the Ohio Digital Library and HOOPLA.

• The High Nooner’s Book Discussion will be held on Thursday, March 17, at noon. Join the library for a casual book discussion over “The Dutch House” by Ann Patchett. • Just a Little Inspiration Book Club will be held on Wednesday, March 23, at 1 p.m. Join Staci for Just a Little Inspiration Book Club over “The Solace of Water” by Elizabeth Byler Younts. Books are available in the library, through the Ohio Digital Library and HOOPLA.

• The Milton-Union Public Library will host an author talk on Thursday, March 24, at 6 p.m. Please join the library to welcome author Rob Brundrett for an evening discussion on his new book, “Girl from the Racetrack.”

While his first book, “Vietnam on My Mind,” consisted of 10 stories based on actual events in Vietnam, the new book is a work of fiction. The story takes place with horse racing and the Vietnam War as a backdrop, but the storyline is primarily about the relationship of the two people and how their love flourished despite the impediments of war as they together faced enemy shelling, the Easter Offensive, and escape from enemy forces.

The book may be purchased online on Amazon and locally from New and Olde Pages Book Shoppe in Englewood, as well as Browse Awhile Books in Tipp City and Jay and Mary’s Book Center in Troy.

• Dungeons and Dragons Night will be held on Saturday, March 19, from noon to 4 p.m. Tweens and Teens who are interested in Dungeons and Dragons can bring their dice and join Stacy and others for a night of magic! Feel free to bring any accessories you may already have. Character sheets and some campaign materials will be provided.

• Nerf Night will be on Monday, March 28, from 6-7 p.m. Tweens and Teens are welcome to join Stacy for some Nerf gun fun! They will be setting up carnival style games to test even the best shooter’s prowess. Feel free to bring your own Nerf gun. Registration is required. • Bring Your Own Device sessions will be on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Appointments are encouraged. The program hopes to create technology users who are able to fully participate in online government, search and apply for jobs online, and utilize digital resources for financial, social, historical, and informational needs, with an understanding of their digital footprint and how to protect their personal information. Patrons with questions about Overdrive, Hoopla or their device can stop by the library to have questions answered, or schedule a phone consultation. • YA Book Reviews: Teens, do you need to earn community service or volunteer hours, or just want something to do? Review award-winning books for young adults selected by the American Library Association! • Memory Garden: The library has created an on-site memory garden for patrons to memorialize individuals who they have lost over the years. • Luck O’ the Library will be a reading program held during the month of March for children whose ages are between kindergarten and fifth grades. Sign up to participate in March’s four-week reading program and receive a booklet to complete. Read a book each day of the week, and redeem your coupon at the library for a prize. There are four coupons with the chance to receive four different prizes! For every coupon that is redeemed, the child is able to add seven gold coins to the pot at the end of the library rainbow. Let’s see how full we can get the pot!
