DAYTON — The Troy baseball team improved to 15-3 overall and 11-2 in the MVL with a 10-0 win at Stebbins on Monday.

Caleb Adkins had a triple and two RBIs and Eli Donnan was 2-for-3 with a double.

Ryder Kirtley was 2-for-3 with a triple and Andrew Helman was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.

Eli Smith was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs.

Brian Allen pitched a two-hitter, striking out 10.

PIQUA — The Piqua baseball team handled Fairborn 11-2 Monday.

Piqua is 12-6 overall and 8-5 in the MVL.

SIDNEY — The Tippecanoe baseball team improved to 13-7 overall and 8-5 in the MVL with a road win Monday.

DJ Martin had a double.

Matt Salmon pitched a three-hitter, striking out nine and walking one.

TROY — The Troy Christian baseball team blasted five home runs in a non-conference five-inning win.

Ben Major had an amazing game, going 3-for-3 with three home runs and eight RBIs.

Lucas Day blasted two home runs and was 3-for-5 with three RBIs.

Gavin Blore pitched a no-hitter, striking out four and walking one.

Blore helped himself with a double.

Connor Frye was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs and Zane Harris was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Matthew Major was 2-for-3 with a double and Seth Ryan had two RBIs.

SIDNEY — The Lehman Catholic baseball team dropped a home non-conference game.

Hayden Sever and Ethan Stiver both doubled.

Four pitchers combined on a 12-hitter, striking out five and walking three.

PLEASANT HILL — The Newton baseball team dropped a home non-conference game game with Russia.

Ty Schauer had Newton’s only hit.

Hudson Montgomery, Lane Bayer and Colin Tackett combined on a seven-hitter, striking out two and walking one.
