HOUSTON — The Milton-Union girls basketball team rallied in the second half for a 59-53 win over Houston Monday night.

The Bulldogs, 6-1, will host Covington Thursday.

Milton trailed 20-9 after one quarter and 29-20 at halftime.

The Bulldogs took a 44-39 lead after three quarters and held on for the win.

Jenna Brumbaugh had 29 points and nine rebounds to lead Milton.

Ava Berberich had 13 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals and Shannon Brumbaugh had seven points, three steals and two blocked shots.

Kate Copp had six points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots and Kenize Shortridge had three assists.

Bethel 18

BRANDT — The Bethel girls basketball team dropped a non-conference game at home Monday night.

The Bees, 2-6, will host Greenville Thursday.

Bethel trailed 14-3, 25-5 and 32-5 at the quarter breaks.
