Monroe Federal to hold groundbreaking ceremony

TIPP CITY — On Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 10 a.m., Monroe Federal Savings & Loan will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for their new, state of the art Tipp West Office located at 985 W. Main St., Tipp City.

The new facility will be the fourth Monroe Federal branch office and will be the largest branch office to date. The facility will be 6,680 square feet and have two drive-thru lanes with a drive-up ATM. Lewis Renollet, President & CEO for Monroe Federal Savings & Loan, will be joined by the Board of Directors and the Executive Officer team at the groundbreaking ceremony.

PWCampbell, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is the design firm for the project. Jim Caliendo is President and COO for PWCampbell and Dean Giordano is the Senior VP, Design & Construction. The Ideal Co., Inc., based in Clayton, will be the general contractor for the project. Fred Sink is the President for Ideal Co., Inc. and Kent and Kevin Filbrun are the Vice Presidents. All of the above named individuals may attend the groundbreaking ceremony.

Many other local officials may be in attendance for this event.

“This expansion will allow us to offer our customers a new state of the art facility at a convenient location. We do not plan to leave downtown, but will make changes to the current Main Street location to meet a growing need for operational space for our main office support staff. We began in 1875 right here in the heart of Monroe Township, and we plan to continue to serve this community for years to come,” said Lewis Renollet, President and CEO for Monroe Federal Savings & Loan.
