TROY — Trojan City Studios, LLC will open for business on Jan. 2, 2022. The new recording studio will be located in Troy at 1516 W. Main St.

Trojan City Studio owners, Chris Stewart and Seth Canan, have acquired a new Neve 8424 recording console as their centerpiece of the new studio. Based on Neve’s Iconic 80 series consoles, the new 8424 console will come equipped with Neve’s 1073 microphone preamps, which are responsible for legendary sounds on so many hits over the years.

Beginning in January, local musicians, voice-over artists, as well as producers from around the area will be able to record, mix, and master their projects at Trojan City Studios with their new Neve 8424 recording console.

Business partners, Stewart and Canan combined their years of music experience and education, as well as their own home recording studios, to form Trojan City Studios, LLC. Trojan City Studio’s mission is to make professional recordings for their clients that stand the test of time.

Stewart and Canan want to help local artists grow and reach their goals. The new Troy business will offer multiple services for artists including: songwriting and production, recording, mixing, mastering, artist development, and voice-over production.

Trojan City Studios will operate by appointment only, and they have started to fill slots on the calendar already.
