CASSTOWN — Elisabeth Norman has been named the January 2024 Miami East-MVCTC Member of the Month.

Norman, a senior, is a fourth-year member of the Miami East-MVCTC Chapter and is the daughter of Neal and Brandy Norman.

Norman has been an active FFA member her entire FFA career. She attended the State and National FFA Conventions, participated in the General Livestock Evaluation Career Development Event, and exhibited numerous projects at the FFA Shop and Crop display at the county fair.

Norman’s Supervised Agricultural Experience program consists of job placement at R.E. Skilling, a local farmer equipment supply store, where she is responsible for assembling equipment, stocking inventory, and other tasks. She participates in the Senior Ag Capstone experience at Miami East High School. Additionally, she has a female German Shorthaired Pointer that she breeds.

Every month of the school year, the Miami East-MVCTC FFA will select a student as the FFA Member of the Month. The officer team will nominate one member actively involved in the FFA chapter, school, and community activities. If selected, the members will be recognized at the monthly FFA meeting, display their picture in the Miami East Ag room, and receive a special accolade to celebrate their accomplishments.
