To the Editor:

Why do we want to keep the lights on at Hayner? Simply put, it is one of Troy’s greatest treasures. The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center does have something for everyone. Almost all of us have found our way to Hayner at least once in our lives. We have attended weddings, concerts, exhibits, receptions, classes, meetings, and parties. We have taken our children to learn ballet, to see their own artwork on display, and to share their Christmas lists with Santa. And even if we don’t stop in, just driving by this well-maintained, elegant, century-old building makes us smile.

Your support of the 0.85 mill renewal levy will result in no new taxes for you, but a bright well-lit future for Hayner.
