PLEASANT HILL — The Barn Youth Center, 2140 N. Rench Road, Pleasant Hill, has updated and renovated its skate park thanks to funds donated by the Miami County Foundation.
Open to skateboards, BMX bikes and scooters, the newly updated park is ready for use. Students who do not own equipment can sign a waiver and borrow scooters, bikes and skateboards from The Barn for free.
The Barn is open to junior high students on the first and third Saturday night of each month from 7-10 p.m. and to high school students every Friday night from 7-10 p.m.
To see the new skate park and learn more about The Barn, visit during open house from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 13. Light refreshments will be served.
