DAYTON — The Tippecanoe girls basketball team improved to 9-7 overall and 8-5 in the MVL with a 57-25 win over Stebbins Thursday night.

Tipp, 9-7 overall and 8-5 in the MVL, will play at Troy Saturday.

The game was tied 12-12 after one quarter.

Tipp led 31-22 at halftime and 47-25 after three quarters.

Covington 57,

Riverside 24

COVINGTON — The Covington girls moved into a share of first place in the TRC with a home win.

Covington will host Miami East on Thursday in a big TRC game.

The Buccs led 15-8, 36-14 and 54-17 at the quarter breaks.

Gracie Anderson led the Buccs with a season high 17 points.

Carlie Besecker scored 13 points and Claudia Harrington added 11 points.

Claire Fraley netted seven points and Maggie Anderson scored six points.

Troy Christian 38,

Lehman Cath. 25

SIDNEY — The Troy Christian girls basketball team improved to 9-7 overall and 7-4 in the TRC.

Lehman Catholic dropped to 6-12 overall and 4-8 in the TRC.

Troy Christian host Fort Recovery Saturday, while Lehman plays Newton.

The Eagles led 7-6, 14-10 and 26-15 at the quarter breaks.

Brooklyn Lavy had 15 points, eight rebounds and four steals for Troy Christian.

Jocey Hill added 12 points and Hope Carroll had six points and four steals.

Milton-Union 62,

Northridge 16

DAYTON — The Milton-Union girls basketball team improved to 7-12 overall and 4-9 in the TRC.

Milton will host Riverside Thursday.

The Bulldogs led 16-2, 35-6 and 53-16 at the quarter breaks.

Jenna Brumbaugh had 19 points, five rebounds, six assists and six steals.

Ava Berberich had 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists, five steals and two blocked shots and Shannon Brumbaugh had eight points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Kearsyn Robison scored eight points and Raegan Fulton added six points.

Annie Smith had nine rebounds, three assists and four steals and Morgan Quisenberry had three assists and four steals.

Newton 38

NEW PARIS — The Newton girls basketball team couldn’t overcome a slow start in WOAC action Thursday.

Newton, 7-11 overall and 3-7 in the WOAC, travels to Lehman Saturday.

The Indians trailed 11-3, 26-6 and 39-21 at the quarter breaks.

Reese Hess scored all 13 of her points in the second half to lead Newton.

Camryn Gleason and Brooke Hines scored nine points each.

Dixie 45,

Bradford 36 OT

NEW LEBANON — The Bradford girls basketball team failed to score in overtime, dropping to 10-8 overall and 4-4 win the WOAC.

The Railroaders will travel to Tri-Village Saturday.

Bradford trailed 12-7, 17-14 and 25-24 after the first three quarter breaks.

The game was tied at 36 at the end of regulation.

PIQUA — The Piqua boys bowling team improved to 9-2 overall and 5-1 in the MVL with a win at Breakpoint Entertainment Thursday.

Tippecanoe dropped to 3-4 overall and 3-2 in the MVL.

Dylan Jenkins led Piqua with games of 195 and 242.

Brayden Soliday rolled games of 210 and 213 and Ethan Snyder had games of 220 and 180.

Collin Snyder had games of 199 and 182 and Connor Bollinger had games of 166 and 160.

Piqua rolled baker games of 206 and 167.

Dillen Swartz led Tipp with games of 194 and 226.

Brenden Blacketer had games of 110 and 186 and Colin Maalouf had games of 171 and 121.

Brendon Lupton rolled games of 138 and 109, Noah Johnson rolled a 121 and Cameron Hunt had a 116 game.

Miranda Sweetman had games of 132 and 131 and Kiya Treon had games of 145 and 109.

Piqua rolled baker games of 136 and 151.

Emily Von Krosigk led Tipp with games of 135 and 145 and Isabeall Janney rolled games of 137 and 138.

Marissa Hollen had games of 124 and 84.
