MONDAY

-4:56 p.m.: theft. Officers responded to a report of a theft of merchandise from Menards on Weller Drive.

-4:51 p.m.: theft. Officers responded to Menards on Weller Drive on a report of a theft of merchandise.

-12:26 p.m.: criminal damage: Officers discovered the basketball court at Tipp City Park had been vandalized by unknown suspects at an unknown time.

SUNDAY

-1:36 a.m.: disturbance. Police responded to a report of a verbal argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend at the Holiday Inn Express on West Main Street. The hotel staff wanted the couple trespassed from the hotel.

SATURDAY

-11:38 a.m.: theft. Police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 500 block of Windridge Place.

FRIDAY

-8:42 p.m.: trespassing complaint. Officers responded to the 100 block of North First Street for a male subject who wanted his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend trespassed from the male subject’s residence.

FEB. 16

-4:47 p.m.: assault. Officers responded to Broadway Elementary School on a report of a child being assaulted on the school bus by another student.

-4:13 p.m.: unruly juvenile. Officers responded to the 100 block of North Hyatt Street on a report of a juvenile selling vapes.

CRASHES

No one was cited following a hit-skip crash on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 11:16 a.m.

Kevin Glover, of Cincinnati, was parked in the lot at Ginghamsburg Church when an unknown subject side swiped Glover’s unoccupied vehicle.

• Daniel Ball, 51, of Piqua, was cited with failure to yield following a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 4:40 p.m.

Ball was travelling north on North Kinna Drive when he entered the intersection causing Sidney Henn, 81, of Monroe Township, who was travelling east on Harmony Drive, to strike Ball’s vehicle. Henn had the right of way and no stop sign entering the intersection while Ball did have a stop sign.

• Ethan Mowry, 17, of Pitsburg, was cited with assured clear distance and Kiera Foster, 36, of Troy, was cited with driving under suspension following a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 3:20 p.m

The two-vehicle crash occurred when Foster was stopped in southbound traffic waiting to turn left into Dollar General on South County Road 25A when Mowry failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and rear-ended Foster.
