July 18

-12:30 a.m.: suspicious vehicle. Police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of South 1st Street.

-12:36 a.m.: suspicious person. Police responded to a person sleeping in their vehicle in the 500 block of South 1st Street.

July 17

-12:29 a.m.: suspicious vehicle. Police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of Donn Davis Way.

-3:25 p.m.: non-criminal damage. Police responded to reports of a vehicle being damaged by a man hole cover in the 800 block of Aspen Drive.

-5:49 p.m.: theft. Police responded to a past theft reported in the 200 block of South Garber Drive.

-9:26 p.m.: burglar alarm. Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 1000 block of West Main Street and found the back door of a building was cracked open. Nothing appeared out of place and the building key holder was notified.

-10:44 p.m.: suspicious person. Police responded to a person sleeping in their vehicle in the 200 block of Parkwood Drive.

July 16

-9:58 p.m.: suspicious person. Police responded to reports of suspicious persons in the intersection of West Main Street and North 6th Street. Subjects were standing near their vehicles talking and were about to walk to a friend’s house around the corner. No criminal activity was observed.

July 14

-10:03 a.m.: burglar alarm. Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 900 block of West Main Street.

-10:32 p.m.: suspicious person. Police responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Greensward Drive.

July 13

-12:10 p.m.: crash. A crash occurred in the intersection of West Main Street and South County Road 25A. One driver was cited for traffic control device.

July 12

-12:16 a.m.: suspicious vehicle. A VW Jetta with parking lights on was reported in the 100 block of South Garber Drive.

-3:08 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Police responded to a call in the 1000 block of West Main Street.

-7:41 a.m.: assault. Police responded to reports of an assault in the 3500 block of South County Road 25A. According to Jerry Young, an older man was verbally harassing him and his god daughter and had driven his vehicle at Young with the intent to hit him. Young had been struck partially by the vehicle and sustained an injury to his left shin. Security footage confirmed Young’s statement.

Responding officers sent a BOLO out for the suspect and the incident remains under investigation.

-1:29 p.m.: telephone harassment. Police responded to reports of a person calling to harass employees in the 0 block of East Main Street.

July 11

-7:42 a.m.: burglar alarm. Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 1200 block of Hermosa Drive.

-1:50 p.m.: suspicious priority. Police responded to reports of a male buying large amounts of gift cards daily in the 900 block of West Main Street.

-4:06 p.m.: disorderly conduct. An intoxicated person was reported in the 400 block of South Hyatt Street.
