Troy man arrested following drug raid

TROY — Last Friday, Miami County Sheriff’s Office detectives obtained a search warrant in Troy which resulted in one arrest and the seizure of cocaine and drug trafficking materials.

The search warrant was conducted at 252 Grant Street in Troy. Items seized during the raid included cocaine, two handguns, drug manufacturing equipment, digital scales, $11,000 cash, cell phones and a vehicle.

Kevin Lee Hughes,36, of Troy, was arrested at the time of the search. Hughes was charged with trafficking cocaine, manufacturing of drugs, and two counts of weapons under disability. The investigation is on-going and additional arrests are likely, according to the sheriff’s office press release.
