April 15
OVI: An officer responded to a reckless operation near Walmart. Jordan Brandon, 28, of Troy, was charged with OVI, no turn signals, and failure to reinstate license, open container and possession of marijuana.
ASSAULT: An officer responded to 2300 block of West Main Street for a disturbance. James Pezzimenti, 24, of Pleasant Hill, was charged with assault, criminal trespass, unlawful restraint.
April 16
WARRANT: Don Meeks, 29, of Laura, was located for an out-of-county warrant at the Budget Inn.
THEFT: A theft complaint was filed in the 900 block of South Clay Street.
THEFT: A theft complaint was filed in the 100 block of Chapel Drive West.
CAR WASH OVI: At 3:30 p.m. officer responded to the Magic Tunnel Car Wash on a report of five vehicles being damaged due to the lead vehicle stopping while going through the car wash. The driver appeared impaired, refused field sobriety tests, but submitted an OVI blood sample. Case pending lab results.
MAIL CARRIER BIT: Christopher Vanchure, 22, of Troy, was charged with animals at-large after a mail carrier was bit by a German Shepard who was loose on Elmwood Street.
April 17
CHASE: The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Shelby County Sheriff Department pursuing a red Dodge Charger was overheard on radio traffic. An OSP trooper and officer set up at the 76-mile marker to get the vehicle to hit spike strips. The spike strips were successful. The occupants abandoned the car near the 74-mile marker.
April 18
UNDERAGE: Markus Davis, 20, and Hunter Stouffer, 22, both of Troy, were charged with underage consumption and/or allowing underage consumption in the 500 block of Staunton Commons.
