TROY — Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center hosted a family friendly “Trunk or Treat” on Wednesday, Oct. 27. The free event was held in the parking lot of the skilled nursing facility in Troy.

Dozens of princesses, superheroes, ghosts, and goblins collected a wide range of treats from decorated trunks, with lots of candy to be had.

The Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare staff decked out their cars, and kids went from decorated trunk to decorated trunk to pick up candy. There were more than ten candy givers, and the treats and snacks were donated by Troy Rehabilitation and staff.

“We take pride in supporting the communities we serve,” said Troy Hutchinson, administrator of Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. “This was a fun fall event that provided a safe environment for children. It was nice seeing the kids in their very creative costumes, and having this Halloween tradition.”
