PIQUA — The Troy bowling teams picked up wins over Piqua Tuesday at Break Point Entertainment.

The Troy boys defeated Piqua 2,579-2.267.

Troy had games of 1,043 and 1,131, followed by baker games of 181 and 224.

Bryce Massingill led Troy with games of 259 and 269 for a 528 series, while Jordan Adams rolled games of 231 and 257 for a 488 series.

Drew Snurr had games of 197 and 214 for a 411 series and Brayden Ganger rolled games of 185 and 163 for a 348 series.

Tyler Stoltz rolled a 228 and Nathan Hamilton rolled a 171.

Piqua had games of 940 and 982, followed by baker games of 170 and 175.

Dylan Jenkins rolled games of 189 and 239 for a 428 series, while Collin Snyder had games of 223 and 192 for a 415 series.

Ethan Snyder rolled duplicate 185 games for a 370 series, while Zach Henne had games of 193 and 166 for a 359 series.

Ryan Fleisher had games of 150 and 200 for a 350 series.

The Troy girls defeated Piqua 2,099-1,845.

drop game

WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union boys basketball team dropped to 11-8 with a 66-54 loss to Arcanum Tuesday night.

Arcanum led 16-14, 30-27 and 47-46 at the quarter breaks.

Blake Brumbaugh had 27 points for the Bulldogs, while Sam Case added 14 points, seven assists and three steals.

Cooper Brown scored eight points.

Bethel boys

get CCC win

COVINGTON — The Bethel boys basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter for a 47-45 win over Covington.

Covington led 12-8, 24-18 and 38-31 at the quarter breaks.

Will Reittinger scored 17 points for Bethel.

Casey Keesee scored 12 and Ethan Rimkus added eight.

East girls

handle Jets

CASSTOWN — The Miami East girls basketball team finished the regular season at 11-11 with a 55-50 win over Fairlawn Tuesday.

Miami East led 12-9 after one quarter, but trailed 30-24 at halftime and 46-41 after after three quarters.

But, the Vikings used a 14-4 advantage in the fourth quarter to pull out the win.

Rori Hunley had another big game with 19 points.

Camryn Francis scored nine and Paxton Hunley and Kayly Fetters both scored eight points each.

Cadence Gross added seven points.

MV girls

edge Newton

PLEASANT HILL — The Newton girls basketball team lost to Mississinawa Valley 43-41 Tuesday night.

MV led 12-5 after one quarter, but Newton rallied to tie the game 23-23 at halftime.

Newton took a 36-33 lead after three quarters, but could not hold on for the win.

Tori Benedict had four 3-pointers and scored 14 points.

Camryn Gleason had 12 points and Reece Hess added eight points and nine rebounds.
