TIPP CITY — On Thursday, May 26, the Tipp City American Legion Post 586 will have a walking taco salad bar. Taco meat and all the fixings will be available along with cookies for dessert. Servings will start at 6 p.m., and the cost is $5 per meal. Please bring your family and friends to enjoy this meal. Euchre will follow at 7 p.m., and cost is only $5 to participate.

On Friday, May 27, the Tipp City American Legion Riders will be serving a baked chicken breast dinner. The dinner will include chicken breast, two sides, a salad and desert for $9. Serving will start at 6 p.m. and will continue until gone. Please be early to ensure getting this great meal.

On Saturday, May 28, the American Legion Post 586 will sponsor Music Bingo. The Music Bingo will start at 7 p.m., and snacks will be available. This Music Bingo is hosted by Donnie Chaney and is open to the public free of charge. Come in for a good time. Dancing and singing along is encouraged.

On Sunday, May 29, American Legion Post 586 is sponsoring their weekly Sunday breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 11 a.m., featuring eggs your way, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, toast, coffee and juice. The total cost for this plentiful meal is $8. You are invited to bring your family and friends for an enjoyable breakfast and an inviting atmosphere.

On Monday, May 30, Post 586 is sponsoring the Memorial Day Parade. It will start at 10 a.m. at the corner of Main and Hyatt streets. A wreath will be laid at the Veterans Memorial on the corner before the parade. The parade will continue to Maple Hill Cemetery, where a brief ceremony will be held in remembrance of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. There will be vegetable soup and sandwiches available free of charge at the Post Home on Third street following the ceremony.

The Legion Post is conveniently located at 377 N. Third Street, Tipp City with plenty of parking in back of the Post. Please come out and enjoy these events that are open to the public.
