DAYTON — The Troy girls basketball team picked up its sixth straight win Wednesday night, topping Stebbins 50-23 in MVL action.

Troy is now 7-4 overall and shares the overall MVL lead with a 7-1 record.

The Lady Trojans face a big road test Monday, traveling to 7-1 Tecumseh.

Troy got off to a fast start against Stebbins, leading 15-4, 28-7 and 36-16 at the quarter breaks.

Macie Taylor had 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals and Kiyah Baker had 10 points and seven rebounds.

Brynn Siler had eight points, six rebounds and three blocked shots and Madalynn Hughes scored seven points.

Amyannah Tucker had six points, six rebounds and four assists and Makenzee Machino had six rebounds and four steals.

Jovie Studebaker added six rebounds and three steals.

Tippecanoe 50

SIDNEY — Tippecanoe dropped an MVL road game with Sidney Wednesday.

The Red Devils are now 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the MVL.

Piqua 37,

Fairborn 33

FAIRBORN — The Piqua girls basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter for its first win of the season.

Piqua, 1-9 overall and 1-7 in the MVL, trailed 12-9, 18-15 and 25-23 at the quarter breaks.

Reagan Toopes led Piqua with 15 points and Logan Spradlin hit two big 3-pointers down the stretch.

Milton-Union 34

NEW LEBANON — The Milton-Union girls basketball team dropped to 5-6 with a loss in the consolation game of the Dixie Holiday Tournament.

Milton trailed 17-9, 26-18 and 35-27 at the quarter breaks.

Kearsyn Robison scored 13 points and Jenna Brumbaugh added 11 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Shannon Brumbaugh had eight rebounds, Ava Berberich had four steals and three assists and Raegan Fulton blocked two shots.
