TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe boys basketball team cruised to a win over Greenville Friday night in MVL action.

The Red Devils improved to 15-1 overall and 13-0 in the MVL.

Tipp led 23-7, 37-13 and 53-22 at the quarter breaks.

Stanley Clyne led Tippecanoe with 20 points and three steals.

Evan Manes scored 12 points and Jackson Smith added eight points.

Josh Dietz had seven points and four assists, Maddox Sivon had seven points and three steals, C.J. Bailey scored five points and Liam Poronsky had four assists.

W. Carrollton 52,

Piqua 47

WEST CARROLLTON — The Piqua boys basketball team stayed close the entire game before falling in MVL action on the road.

Piqua drops to 13-5 overall and 9-5 in the MVL.

The game was tied 6-6 after one quarter.

West Carrollton led 20-19 at halftime and 31-30 after three quarters.

Dre’Sean Roberts led Piqua with 21 points and six rebounds and Colten Beougher pulled down 12 rebounds.

Anson Cox had six points, seven rebounds and three assists and Mickey Anderson scored six points.

Bryson Roberts had five points, five rebounds and three steals and Tate Kuhlman had five points and five rebounds.

CASSTOWN — In matchup of state-ranked teams, Troy Christian came away with a road win to earn a share of the TRC lead.

Troy Christian is now 14-3 overall and 10-1 in the TRC, while Miami East drops to 16-2 overall and 10-1 in the TRC.

The Eagles, coming off a win over Tri-Village, led 12-7, 20-15 and 31-21 at the quarter breaks.

Alex Free had 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists for Troy Christian.

Frank Rupnik had 10 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots and Kyle Sebor scored nine points.

Parker Penrod added six points and four assists.

Wes Enis had 13 points and nine rebounds for the Vikings and Jacob Roeth added 11 points, five rebounds and three assists.

Mitchel Kemp grabbed 12 rebounds and Devon Abshire and Bryce Haught scored six points each.

COVINGTON — The Milton-Union boys basketball team rallied from a halftime deficit Friday night.

The Bulldogs improve to 10-7 overall and 6-5 in the TRC and the Buccs drop to 4-14 overall and 0-11 in the TRC.

Connor Yates had 23 points and 13 rebounds for Milton-Union and Zach Lovin added 12 points and five rebounds.

Cooper Brown filled out the stat sheet with eight points, six rebounds, five assists and six steals and Braden Schaurer scored six points.

Tyler Kress dished out four assists.

Bryson Hite led Covington with 13 points and Brogen Angle scored 12 points.

DEGRAFF — The Lehman Catholic boys basketball team got a road win in TRC action.

Lehman improved to 11-6 overall and 6-5 in the TRC.

Lehman led 12-11, 28-22 and 44-31 at the quarter breaks.

Donovan O’Leary had 19 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and Justin Chapman added nine points, 16 rebounds and five blocks.

Da’Ron Pride scored 15 points and Daniel Carlisle and David Brunner both added five points.

DAYTON — The Bethel boys basketball team dropped a heartbreaker on the road in TRC action Friday night.

Bethel is 6-12 overall and 3-8 in the TRC.

The Bees led 15-9 after one quarter, but trailed 28-19 at halftime and 36-32 after three quarters.

NEW PARIS — The Newton boys basketball team picked up a road win in WOAC action.

The Indians improved to 9-9 overall and 5-4 in the WOAC.

Newton led 16-10, 30-18 and 45-20 at the quarter breaks.

Harold Oburn had 23 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots and Quinn Peters had 14 points and and four assists.

Hudson Montgomey had eight points, seven rebounds and four assists and Aaron Colvin scored eight points.

Max Newhouse had five points and nine rebounds and Carson Tucker dished out three assists.

NEW LEBANON — The Bradford boys basketball team stayed close for three quarters Friday night in WOAC action.

The Railroaders dropped to 10-7 overall and 6-3 in the WOAC.

Dixie led 18-17, 28-26 and 47-41 at the quarter breaks.

The Red Devils led 13-4, 27-14 and 31-28 at the quarter breaks.

Stanley Clyne led Tippecanoe with 24 points, making 14 of 18 free throws.

He also had four assists, four steals and two blocked shots.

Liam Poronsky had 12 points, five rebounds and three assists and Jackson Smith had eight points, 10 rebounds and two blocked shots.

Maddox Sivon pulled down five rebounds.

ANNA — The Miami East boys basketball team bounced back on the road Saturday night.

The Vikings led 15-8, 30-20 and 38-35 at the quarter breaks.

Wes Enis had 23 points, six rebounds and three assists and Jacob Roeth had 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Cameron Monnin scored eight points, Devon Abshire had six points and Andrew Crane had five points and five rebounds.

SPRINGFIELD — The Troy Christian boys basketball team finished off a perfect weekend with a win at Emmanuel Christian Saturday night.

The Eagles led 14-11, 31-14 and 53-17 at the quarter breaks.

Ethan Grise scored 11 points, Frank Rupnik had five points, five rebounds and three blocked shots and Matthew Wynne scored five points.

The Buccs led 29-7, 45-21 and 66-29 at the quarter breaks.

Brogen Angle led a balanced attack with 19 points.

Tanner Palsgrove scored 13 points and Bryson Hite and Britton Miller scored 12 points each.

Mic Barhorst had seven points and Connor Humphrey netted five points.

BRADFORD — The Lehman Catholic boys basketball team got a non-conference win Saturday.

Lehman led 16-9, 23-16 and 33-25 at the quarter breaks.

Da’Ron Pride scored 12 points and Justin Chapman had 11 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots.

Daniel Carlisle and Donovan O’Leary scored nine points each and Turner Lachey had five points and seven assists.

NEW MADISON — The Bethel boys basketball team dropped a non-conference game on the road Saturday night.

Tri-Village led 14-10, 24-17 and 37-33 at the quarter breaks.

Mike Halleg scored 27 points.

Remi Brannan had nine points and five rebounds and Eli Lowery scored five points.

Jonas Friend had three steals.
