WEST CARROLLTON — The Piqua softball team continued to swing hot bats in a 13-2 MVL win over West Carrollton Friday.

Kenzi Anderson had two RBIs and Olivia Anthony was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.

Audrey Bean was 2-for-3 and Emily Kizer had three RBIs.

Brielle Penley was 2-for-4.

Anthony pitched a five-hitter, striking out seven and walking two.

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe softball team dropped an MVL softball game at home Friday.

Kyla Fry was 2-for-3 and Maddie Carner had a double.

COVINGTON — The Covington softball team remained unbeaten in TRC play.

Kierra Hinnegan was 2-for-5 with two RBIs and Reaghan Lemp and Mara Newhouse had two RBIs.

Parker Metz had three RBIs and Nigella Reck was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.

Meg Rogers was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs and Karyanne Turner was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Rogers, Reck and Erika Gostomsky combined on a three-hitter, striking out 11 and walking two.

Bradford 1

LOUDONVILLE — The Bradford softball lost in a game in the Wendy’s Spring Classic.

Austy Miller’s leadoff single was Bradford’s only hit and she scored on Nylani Beireis’ fielder’s choice.

Beireis and Izzy Hamilton combined to strikeout one and walk two.

LOUDONVILLE — The Bradford softball team dropped a second game in the Wendy’s Spring Classic.

Remi Harleman was 2-for-2 for the Railroaders and Nylani Beireis had a double and two RBIs.

Izzy Hamilton and Beireis combined to strikeout three and walk three.
