TROY — The Miami County YMCA Robinson Branch will be holding an indoor triathlon consisting of swimming, bicycling and running/jogging on a treadmill on March 20. There will be five heats of four people. The first heat starts at 9 a.m. and the last heat starts at 11:30 a.m. This event is open for member and non-member registration. Space is limited, so participants are encouraged to register early.

“I am so excited to see people striving to meet their fitness goals by being a part of a healthy competition. I think this event is a great way to encourage people to train their bodies in different cardiovascular endurance activities and test their muscular endurance,” said Miami County YMCA Robinson Branch Health and Wellness Director Sierra Woodyard.

The event will involve 15 minutes of swimming, 20 minutes of cycling and 15 minutes of running/jogging. Each area in this event will have staff members counting swimming laps, writing the member’s distance while cycling and the member’s distance while running/jogging.

A T-shirt is included in the cost of the event when you sign up at the Piqua or Robinson branch. You can also sign up online from the link on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter.
