Black History and Culture Walk postponed to June 10

Troy, OHIO – Due to weather, Troy Main Street has decided to postpone the Black History and Culture Walk event until June 10. The event was originally scheduled to take place this Friday, Feb. 4. The event in June will take place from 5:30-8 p.m.

Anyone who registered to participate in this event will be contacted, and their tickets will remain reserved. If someone had reserved a ticket but will not be able to participate in the event in June, they can call the Troy Main Street office at 937-339-5455 to release their tickets.

“The committee who has put this event together has worked very hard to create a fun, engaging, and educational event,” said Andrea Keller, executive director of Troy Main Street. “We have had a great response from the community in regards to The Black History and Culture Walk so we are looking forward to hosting the event in June.”

More information regarding the event and specific details will be available as the event date gets closer. Troy Main Street thanked the sponsors for this event.
