CLAYTON — The Tippecanoe boys basketball team dropped to 3-1 with a 68-66 loss to Northmont Saturday night.

Tippecanoe led 18-17 after one quarter, but Northmont led 33-27 at halftime and 47-41 after three quarters.

Evan Manes scored 18 points for Tippecanoe.

Stanley Clyne had 15 points, six rebounds and seven assists and Gavin Garlitz had nine points and three assists.

Cole Coppock had seven points and nine rebounds and Josh Dietz scored six points.

Griffin Caldwell added three assists and three steals.

Newton 58,

PLEASANT HILL — The Newton boys basketball team improved to 3-4 with an easy win.

Newton led 18-8, 28-14 and 37-20 at the quarter breaks.

Harold Oburn had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Chandler Peters scored 15 points.

Hudson Montgomery scored 11 points.

Bradford 74,

Miami Valley 27

DAYTON — The Bradford boys basketball team rolled to an easy win.

The Railroaders led 25-5, 43-21 and 63-26 at the quarter breaks.

Parker Davidson had 20 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Hudson Hill 17 points, seven rebounds, our assists and five steals and Nolan Case had 16 points and five rebounds.

Zage Harleman had eight points and five rebounds and Owen Canan scored eight points.

Sidney 64,

Troy 55

SIDNEY — The Troy boys basketball team stayed close to Sidney throughout Friday night before losing 64-55 to Sidney in MVL action.

Troy dropped to 3-2 overall and in the MVL and will play Tippecanoe Tuesday.

Sidney led 13-12, 33-25 and 47-38 at the quarter breaks.

Konyae Foster scored 18 points to lead the Trojans.

Nick Prince and Noah Davis each scored nine points and Isaac Phillips scored seven points.

Piqua 69,

Stebbins 47

PIQUA — The Indians improved to 2-0 overall and in the MVL.

Piqua led 18-9, 31-21 and 52-32 at the quarter breaks.

Dre’Sean Roberts had 19 points and five rebounds and Josh Crusey added 17 points.

Anson Cox scored nine points and Tanner Kemp added six points.

Bryson Robert had seven rebounds and five assists.

Tippecanoe 77,

Fairborn 46

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe boys basketball team cruised to an easy win in MVL action.

Tippecanoe is 3-0 in the MVL.

Tipp led 14-8, 32-22 and 58-28 at the quarter breaks.

Gavin Garlitz had 16 points and five rebounds and Stanley Clyne had 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Evan Manes added 12 points and Liam Poronsky and Griffin Caldwell scored eight points each.

Luke Hoover had six points, Josh Dietz had six rebounds, Cole Coppock had four assists and Maddix Sivon had five steals.

Milton-Union 52,

Covington 35

WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union boys handled Covington in TRC action.

The Bulldogs improved to 3-2 overall and 2-2 in the TRC, while the Buccs dropped to 1-5 overall and 0-4 in the TRC.

Milton led 10-8, 28-19 and 39-27 at the quarter breaks.

Cooper Brown had 17 points and five rebounds to lead Milton-Union.

Blake Brumbaugh had 13 points and three steals and Connor Yates had nine points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots.

Carson Brown had six points and Landon Bechtel pulled down five rebounds.

Owen Beorhinger scored 13 points for Covington and Britton Miller had six points and eight rebounds.

Cam Kirker dished out four assists.

Lehman 54,

Riverside 40

SIDNEY — The Lehman Catholic boys basketball team picked up a TRC win Friday night.

Lehman improved to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the TRC.

The Cavaliers trailed 12-10 after one quarter and led 20-19 at halftime and 35-23 after three quarters.

A’Zon Steele scored 15 points for Lehman.

Donovan O’Leary had 13 points and five rebounds and Justin Chapman had 13 points, two blocked shots and six rebounds.

Michael McFarland had nine rebounds and A.J. Newson pulled down five rebounds.

Northridge 56,

Bethel 42

DAYTON — Northridge boys basketball team remained unbeaten in TRC play.

Bethel dropped to 3-5 overall and 3-1 in the TRC.

The Bees trailed 12-8, 30-13 and 43-27 at the quarter breaks.

Casey Keesee scored 14 points for Bethel and Will Reittinger added eight points and eight rebounds.

Bradford 60,

TC North 28

BRADFORD — The Bradford boys basketball team improved to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the WOAC with a home win.

The Railroaders led 19-8, 37-14 and 56-21 at the quarter breaks.

Parker Davidson had 23 points, nine rebounds and four steals.

Hudson Hill scored 20 points and Owen Canan had eight points and six rebounds.

Nolan Case added seven points and six rebounds, Zager Harleman grabbed seven rebounds and Landon Monnin dished out five assists.

Newton 73,

Miss. Valley 57

UNION CITY — The Newton boys basketball team improved to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the WOAC.

The Indians led 20-17, 36-26 and 55-39 at the quarter breaks.

Chandler Peters scored 34 points, while Harold Oburn had 14 points, 17 rebounds and five assists.

Clark Yoder had 11 points and 10 rebounds and Hudson Montgomery scored 10 points.
