FAIRBORN — The Tippecanoe girls basketball team improved to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the MVL with a 59-18 win over Fairborn.

Tippecanoe led 13-7, 37-10 and 50-18 at the quarter breaks.

PIQUA — The Piqua girls basketball team dropped to 0-8 overall and 0-6 in the MVL with home loss.

The Indians trailed 11-3, 22-5 and 42-15 at the quarter breaks.

Kenzi Anderson had five points and six rebounds and Reagan Toopes pulled down five rebounds.

Miami East 47,

Covington 38

CASSTOWN — The Miami East girls basketball team got a TRC win over Covington Saturday.

The Vikings improve to 5-4 overall and 4-1 in the TRC, while Covington drops to 8-2 overall and 5-2 in the TRC.

Miami East led 11-8, 29-18 and 40-36 at the quarter breaks.

Kayly Fetters had 17 points and five rebounds off the bench to spark the Vikings, going 3-for-3 from long range.

Camryn Francis added six points and blocked five shots.

Paxton Hunley had six rebounds, three assists and three steals and Mara Posey had six points and six rebounds.

Maryn Gross had six assists and Abigail Kadel had three assists.

Claudia Harrington had 12 points and four steals for Covington.

Claire Fraley had nine points and 16 rebounds and Maggie Anderson had nine points, six rebounds and four assists.

Gracie Anderson added seven points.

TROY — The Bethel girls basketball team improved to 9-1 overall with a win at Troy Christian.

The Bees are now 5-1 in the MVL, while Troy Christian is 4-5 overall and 4-3 in the MVL.

Bethel led 11-7, 22-9 and 33-13 at the quarter breaks.

Karley Moore had 20 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Rhyan Reittinger had eight points, three assists and six steals and Kerrigan Calhoun had seven points, six rebounds and two blocked shots.

Emma Evans scored six points and Zoie Drummond had four steals.

Sarah Johnson had seven points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots for Troy Christian.

Brooklyn Lavy had six points and nine rebounds.

DEGRAFF — The Milton-Union girls basketball team improved to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the TRC.

The Bulldogs led 16-4, 31-10 and 50-20 at the quarter breaks.

Jenna Brumbaugh had 22 points, 10 rebounds and six steals and Kearsyn Robison had 13 points and five rebounds.

Shannon Brumbaugh had eight points and 11 rebounds and Ava Berberich added seven points and six assists.

Annie Smith had six points, five rebounds and three steals and Morgan Quisenberry had five rebounds and five steals.

DAYTON — The Lehman Catholic girls cruised to a win Saturday in TRC action.

Lehman led 13-3, 24-9 and 41-11 at the quarter breaks.

Mara O’Leary had eight rebounds, Heidi Toner pulled down seven rebounds and Caroline Wesner had six rebounds and four steals.

Layla Platfoot had six rebounds and Colleen O’Leary had three steals.

BRADFORD — The Bradford girls basketball team improved to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the WOAC.

Bradford blew the game open in the second quarter, turning a 12-10 first quarter lead to 36-12 at halftime.

The Railroaders led 54-24 after three quarters.

Austy Miller had 28 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Rylee Canan added 16 points, Isabella Hamilton had six points and three assists and Abby Fike scored six points.

Megan Wood had six points and three assists and Brooklyn Crickmore pulled down five rebounds.

NEW LEBANON — The Newton girls basketball team dropped to 4-5 overall and 1-4 in the WOAC.

Newton trailed 19-2, 33-11 and 49-23 at the quarter breaks.

Brooke Hines led Newton with 14 points and Reese Hess scored seven points.
