XENIA — The Piqua wrestling team finished fifth at the Xenia Invitational Saturday and Troy was 11th.
Max Kaye (138) led Piqua.
He finished second, going 4-1 with three pins.
Taking third were Gavin Nelson (126) and Landen Martin (190).
Nelson was 4-1 with one pin and Martin was 3-1 with one pin.
Averi Wiley (106) finished fifth, going 2-2 with two pins.
Finishing sixth were Dylan Johnston (113) and Andru Hollopeter (144).
Johnston was 2-3 with two pins and Hollopeter was 3-2 with two pins.
Lane Obaugh (126) led Troy, taking first place.
He was 5-0 with four pins.
Xavier Poffenbarger (157) took second.
He was 4-1 with four pins.
Joe Cusick (175) finished fifth.
He was 4-1 with four pins.

VERSAILLES — The Covington wrestling team finished fourth at the Versailles Duals Saturday.
Covington finished 3-2.
Covington defeated Kenton Ridge 61-18, Milton-Union 42-21 and Arcanum 72-12 and lost to Versailles 51-27 and Brookville 40-38.
Going 6-0 were Carson Taylor (106, 2 pins), Jericho Quinter (120, 4 pins) and Chase Vanderhorst (132, 4 pins).
Going 5-0 was Michael Hagen (113, 1 pin).
Finishing 4-1 were Connor Sindelir (157, 4 pins) and Scott Blumenstock (285).
Going 4-2 was Hayden Barker (215, 1 pin) and Caleb Miller (150, 1 pin) went 3-2.
Jensen Wagoner (190, 1 pin) went 4-0 and Izaiah Sherman (175, 1 pin) went 3-0.
