TROY — The Troy boys basketball team snapped a five-game losing streak in a big way, handling Stebbins 77-38 Tuesday night in MVL action.

Troy, 4-5 overall and 4-3 in the MVL, will play at Piqua Friday.

The Trojans led 23-10, 36-18 and 58-31 at the quarter breaks.

Isaac Phillips led Troy with 22 points.

Zach King had 15 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots and Noah Davis added 15 points six rebounds and four assists.

Charlie Walker had eight points and five rebounds, Konyae Foster netted seven points, six assists and three steals and Nick Prince added six points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Tippecanoe 67,

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe boys basketball team improved to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the MVL.

Tipp will travel to Vandalia-Butler Friday night.

The Red Devils led 16-10, 30-25 and 51-40 at the quarter breaks.

Gavin Garlitz had 14 points, five rebounds and three steals and Stanley Clyne had 14 points, four assists and two blocked shots.

Griffin Caldwell scored 12 points and Josh Dietz had eight points.

Jackson Smith had seven points, six rebounds and three steals and Cole Coppock scored seven points.

Piqua 62,

Fairborn 38

FAIRBORN — The Piqua boys basketball team went on the road for an MVL win Tuesday night.

Piqua improved to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the MVL and will host Troy Friday night.

The Indians led 18-6, 24-14 and 44-24 at the quarter breaks.

Quintyn Yaqub led Piqua with 20 points seven rebounds.

Dre’Sean Roberts had 17 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and three steals and Anson Cox added 15 points and eight rebounds.

Bryson Roberts had six points and two blocked shots and Colton Beougher grabbed six rebounds.

Bethel 65,

Northwestern 36

SPRINGFIELD — The Bethel boys basketball team improved to 4-7 on the season.

Bethel will host Miami East Friday night.

The Bees led 17-8, 30-18 and 53-28 at the quarter breaks.

Casey Keesee led Bethel with 29 points and two blocked shots.

Braylon Schroeder had 11 points, three steals and two blocked shots and Nico Golden had seven points and five reboounds.

Will Reittinger scored seven pointss, Mike Halleg had six points and six assists and Jason Bowen grabbed eight rebounds.

Remi Brannan added four steals.

Lehman 51,

Houston 27

HOUSTON — The Lehman Catholic boys basketball team improved to 7-3 on the season.

Lehman plays at Troy Christian Friday night.

Lehman led 8-1, 24-9 and 37-18 at the quarter breaks.

Justin Chapman had 13 points and nine rebounds as Lehman dominated the boards 34-12.

A’Zon Steele had 10 points, James Larger scored nine points and Michael McFarland had eight points and nine rebounds.

Milton-Union 59,

Brookville 37

BROOKVILLE — Blake Brumbaugh and Cooper Brown had electrifying dunks in the opening quarter as Milton-Union picked up a road win in non-conference action.

Milton, 7-3, will host Northridge Friday night.

Milton led 12-7, 35-14 and 50-27 at the quarter breaks.

Brumbaugh had 20 points, five rebounds and five assists and Brown added 20 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and six steals.

Conner Yates had 12 points and six rebounds.

Bethel led 17-8, 30-18 and 53-28 at the quarter breaks.
