PIQUA — Kennedy Fashner continued to swing a torrid bat and wrapped up a perfect week at the plate as the Piqua softball team won its fifth game in a row Friday over Stebbins by a 21-5 score.

DAYTON — Colin Tackett shined on the mound as the Newton baseball team picked up a 2-1 win over Fairlawn Sunday at Day Air Ball Park.

BRADFORD — Johnny Vander Meer may be the only Major League pitcher to throw back-to-back no hitters.

TROY — The Troy boys tennis team got past Alter 4-1 Friday.

GREENVILLE — The Troy boys track and field team finished second at the Dwight Salzman Relays Friday night, while the Troy girls won the meet.
