Fire crews from multiple departments fought no less than six field fires on Friday, Oct. 14. This one, on DeWeese Road, burned a couple of acres of bean stubble. Fire officials are warning residents that the lack of rain and high winds can cause a fire to spread, out of control, rapidly.
