WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union football team remained perfect in TRC play with a 41-0 win over Miami East Friday night.

Milton-Union, 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the TRC, will host Covington Friday night.

Miami East, 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the TRC, will host Troy Christian Friday night.

Michael Elman had 153 yards rushing on 16 carries and had touchdown runs of 3, 32 and 2 yards for Milton-Union.

Nate Morter completed eight of 13 passes for 103 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown pass to Blake Brumbaugh.

Brumbaugh also had a 6-yard TD run and caught four passes for 77 yards.

Jordan Foose added a six-yard TD run and Mason Grudich kicked five PATs.

Brumbaugh and Cooper Brown both intercepted passes.

Ethan Lane led the defense with seven tackles.

Zeb Hines had six tackles, Brumbaugh had five and Connor Yates had a sack.

For Miami East, Austin Francis had 13 yards rushing on 10 carries, while Jacob Roeth completed three of eight passes for 24 yards.

Francis also averaged 30 yards on two kickoff returns.

Roeth and Noah Swartz recovered fumbles for Miami East.

Francis led the defense with 10 tackles and Dylan Williams had nine tackles.

Nick Shields and Max Wittenmyer both had eight tackles and Brock Ritchea added six tackles.

Northridge 49,

Covington 6

COVINGTON — The Covington football team dropped to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the TRC.

The Buccs will play at Milton-Union Friday night.

Jensen Wagoner completed five of 11 passes for four yards and led the Bucc rushers with 64 yards on 21 carries.

Izaiah Sherman added 55 yards on 14 carries and had a four-yard touchdown run.

Christian Jarvis had an interception.

Riverside 31,

Troy Christian 0

TROY — The Troy Christian football team lost a home game Friday night in TRC action.

The Eagles dropped to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the TRC.

Troy Christian will play at Miami East Friday night.

Landon Rich had 77 yards rushing on 11 carries.

Lee Burkett had 31 yards on seven carries and completed two of four passes for eight yards.

Josh Ronicker led the defense with 11 tackles and Chase Brown and Gavin Blore both had 10 tackles.

Burkett and Vaughn King both had seven tackles each.

Bethel 21,

Lehman Catholic 17

TIPP CITY — The Bethel football team scored rallied from a 17-7 deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Lehman Catholic 21-17.

Bethel, 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the TRC, will play at Northridge Friday night.

Lehman Catholic, 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the TRC, will host Riverside.

Will Reittinger had 134 yards rushing on nine carries for Bethel, including two touchdowns.

He also caught two passes for 43 yards.

Remi Brannan completed three of three passes for 104 yards, including a 61-yard TD pass to Nico Golden.

Jace Houk kicked all three PATs.

Kenny Wise had 17 tackles and three sacks, while Jason Bowen had 10 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

Eli Currier had 10 tackles and Nick Cain had seven tackles and one sack.

Reittinger and Brannan each had seven tackles.

For Lehman, Doonovan O’Leary completed eight of 15 passes for 124 yards and one touchdown and had 110 yards rushing on 17 carries.

Nathan Sollmann caught four passes for 47 yards and Michael McFarland caught two passes for 37 yards, including one touchdown.

Dylan Karn ran for a touchdown and Josh George kicked both PATs and added a 20-yard field goal.

John Edwards led the defense with 12 tackles and one sack and AJ Newson had 11 tackles and one sack.

Ethan Stiver had nine tackles and two sacks, Hayden Sever had seven tackles and one sack, McFarland had one sack and Seth Kennedy had one sack.

Dixie 35,

Bradford 14

NEW LEBANON — The Bradford football team scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter in a road loss in WOAC action.

Bradford, 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the WOAC, will play at Mississinawa Valley Friday night.

Owen Canan ran 11 yards for one touchdown and threw a 37-yard touchdown pass to Hudson Hill, with Landson Wills kicking both PATs.

Canan completed 18 of 38 passes for 258 yards and led the rushing attack with 57 yards on 11 carries.

Hill caught eight passes for 136 yards and Landon Monnin caught seven passes for 104 yards.

Tucker Miller recovered a fumble and had 12 tackles.

Canan and Parker Davidson had 12 tackles each and Hill had 11.

Devin Carine added nine tackles.
