WEST CARROLLTON — The Tippecanoe girls basketball team went on the road for a 44-38 win Saturday.

The Red Devils are 12-5 overall and 11-3 in the MVL.

Tipp trailed 11-9 after one quarter, but led 15-14 at halftime and 29-26 after three quarters.

Courtney Post had 20 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots.

Laney Cleckner had 11 points and dished out eight assists and Savannah Clawson had three assists.

Reese Hoover blocked three shots.

PIQUA — The Piqua girls basketball team dropped a home game Saturday in MVL action.

Piqua is 3-14 overall and 2-13 in the MVL.

The Indians led 6-4 after one quarter, but trailed 17-11 at halftime and 35-19 after three quarters.

Audrey Bean had 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals to lead Piqua.

Logan Spradlin had nine points and four steals and D’Vaya Cooper had eight points and five rebounds.

Aubree Carroll added three steals.

TROY — The Troy Christian girls basketball team improved to 8-9 with a win at the Eagles Nest Saturday.

The Eagles led 12-11, 32-25 and 49-40 at the quarter breaks.
