The West Milton Council will be holding a public hearing during their regular council meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to review two agricultural applications.

Grow your vegetable garden from seed

TROY — Join the Troy-Miami County Library on Tuesday, March 1 at 6 p.m. to learn how to Grow your Vegetable Garden from Seed. Be prepared to get your hands dirty as Miami County Master Gardeners teach you how to plant seeds in a pot, transplant seedlings into pots later, and then into your garden. All participants will take home potted seeds and seedlings to care for. All supplies are provided and this program is for adults. Registration is required and available online at tmcpl.org. Miami SWCD tree sale ongoing

MIAMI COUNTY — The deadline for the 2022 Miami Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual Tree Seedling and Perennial Sale is Friday, March 11, 2022.

Anyone may order these one to three year old bare-root seedlings. Substitutions are possible with shortages. Customer may exchange or request refund. No orders via phone or e-mail.
