Road closures planned

MIAMI COUNTY — Eldean Road will be closed between County Road 25A and Lytle Road on Jan. 18 through Jan. 20 for tree removal.

Also, Scarff Road will be closed between New Carlisle Road and Dayton Brandt Road on Jan. 18 through Jan. 20 for tree removal.

Tri-County board to meet

TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19, in the Helmlinger Board Room at the board office at 1100 Wayne Street, Suite 4000, Troy. The Finance Committee will meet at the same location beginning at 6 p.m.

Dining with Diabetes offered

MIAMI COUNTY — The OSU Extension in Miami County is offering a Dining with Diabetes Class in partnership with Health Partners Free Clinic. The program consists of four sessions covering a variety of food and diabetes related topics. Participants will receive a kit to cook the food in their own homes along with other incentives for participating. All classes are free and held virtually.

Classes start Feb. 4 and run the next four weeks from noon to 1 p.m. each week.

Participation is free, with registration required.
