Information filed by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office:
April 10
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Tires were slashed on two vehicles in the 300 block of East James Street, Bradford. Deputies charged juveniles in connection with a rash of criminal damaging reports in the area.
CHILD ENDANGERING: Beth Fox, 40, of Englewood, was charged with child endangering.
April 11
JAIL THEFT: An inmate advised a corrections officer someone was stealing his phone time. Kristian Felver, 22, at-large, was charged with theft for $5.16 worth of phone time stolen. Felver and inmate Steven Whitt, 26, of Troy, were also charged with theft for stealing $18.55 at the vending machine using another inmate’s funds. Felver, Guy Calvert, 27, of Piqua, Damien Hobbs, 21, of Greenville, and Levi Adkins, 26, of Troy, were also charged with stealing funds from an inmate which were also used at the vending machine.
JAIL PHONE CALLS: An inmate advised a corrections officer that he had funds put on his account and has not been able to use them. The officer pulled up the account and noted two inmates had used the funds for their personal calls. Gregory Seipel and Dyllan Current were cited for theft.
JAIL FRAUD: An inmate told a corrections officer he had not received his phone time on his account. Officers traced inmates Justin Lynn, Charles Smith, Dyllan Current, Paul Body and Bryan Black for using $129.98 worth of phone time from the inmate. Each inmate was charged with identity fraud.
April 12
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A resident of the Paris Court mobile home park in the 5000 block of West State Route 36, Washington Twp, reported his step daughter, Serenity Drake, stabbed the tire on his truck over a property dispute. Drake fled the scene prior to arrival. The deputy spoke with Drake later in the evening, and she was charged with criminal damaging.
JAIL ASSAULT: Inmates Joshua Kisor, 26, of Troy, and Terrance White, 48, of Dayton, got into a fight. Kisor advised he and several inmates including Terrance were watching the movie “Full Metal Jacket.” Kisor said there was a racial slur in the movie, and White believed Kisor was laughing at the comment and a fist fight ensued. Both admitted to assault and were charged with disorderly conduct.
April 13
LITTERING: A deputy responded to the bridge on Hill Road, Bradford, for a littering complaint. The reporting party told dispatch they did not see who dumped the debris, which appeared to be old bathroom fixtures. The highway department was notified about the debris so they could clean it up.
JUVENILE ISSUES: A deputy spoke with a resident on the 100 block of East James Street in Bradford. Around April 7, several vehicles in the area had their tires punctured overnight. The complainant advised her vehicle was targeted as well and wished the incident be documented for her records. The complainant was issued a case number for insurance purposes.
April 14
WELFARE CHECK: A female was reported missing from UVMC. She was located at another health care facility.
April 15
BURGLARY: A burglary was reported in the 4200 block of East State Route 41, Elizabeth Twp.
ANIMAL ISSUE: Crystal Woodyard came to the Miami County Animal Shelter to look at a dog. Woodyard provided false information on the application to adopt the dog. She then returned the dog to the previous owner that the shelter had obtained the dog from. On April 5, the deputy was able to get the dog back to the Shelter. Crystal Woodyard was cited.
DRUGS FOUND: A deputy was dispatched to the 4800 block of West State Route 36, Piqua, in reference to drug paraphernalia being found on property. Multiple syringes and straws were found with residue on them and a bag of suspected methamphetamine.
TRESPASSING: Kayleigh Seipel, 27, of Piqua, was cited for criminal trespassing.
April 17
JAIL ISSUE: A deputy responded to the Miami County Jail on a drug offense. It was discovered that inmate Lori Foster had an unknown drug hidden her bra that was located during a search. Case is pending lab results.
