Dec. 24

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Caller advised an unknown person spray-painted graffiti on his shed on the 600 block of West Ash Street. It took place sometime between 9 p.m. Dec. 23 and 9 a.m. Dec. 24.

THEFT: Caller advised an unknown person withdrew money from her account on Weber Street at 10:12 a.m. Investigation is pending.

PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT: There was a report of a private property accident where a truck struck a building trying to turn around. It was reported at Common Industrial Springs, 9200 Country Club Road, at 10:27 a.m. Information was exchanged.

WARRANT: There was a report of a subject lying in a yard and not acting right on the 9800 block of North Hardin Road at 12:29 p.m. She had a warrant for her arrest and was incarcerated after being cleared at the hospital. Christina E. Bray, 46, of Piqua, was picked up for first-degree misdemeanor probation violation in connection with this incident.

SUSPICIOUS: Subject called in to report a male walked into a house that is posted as condemned on the 1000 block of West High Street at 2:45 p.m. No one answered at the house in question and the house was locked.

ACCIDENT: Officer was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Sharon Drive and West High Street at approximately 6 p.m. One driver was transported to the hospital for back pain. A report was completed, photos taken, and traffic citation issued.

WARRANT: An officer went to the 400 block of South Downing Street at 9:46 p.m. in an attempt to locate a wanted female. Homeowner said the female was not there and would not let law enforcement check. Homeowner was advised if that the wanted female is located there, she could be charged.

SUSPICIOUS: An adult male was observed sitting in a local park after it closed at the Piqua Public Square gazebo at 10:17 p.m. The male was warned for the violation and left the scene.

Dec. 25

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a disturbance at an apartment on the 100 block of Parkridge Place at 12:06 a.m. Refused caller reported hearing screaming and yelling. Officer didn’t hear any disturbance as they approached. Officer spoke with a female resident, who denied there being an argument inside.

SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of shots fired or possible fireworks on the 1500 block of Washington Avenue at 1:14 a.m. Officers checked the area and did not find anything.

DISTURBANCE: There was a dispute on the 600 block of Miami Street at 3:21 a.m. over property that was taken from a motel room in Troy. Male was able to get back a sweatshirt that belonged to him but his other clothing items were allegedly still at the motel room.

AGENCY ASSIST: Officer assisted Ohio State Highway Patrol while he was finishing up a traffic stop in the area of South Main Street and Hemm Avenue at 3:40 a.m.

HARASSMENT: Dispatch said the female wanted to speak to an officer about a telecommunications harassment complaint on the 600 block of Miami Street at 3:53 a.m. Female wanted the male warned for telecommunications harassment. Both the male and female were warned for telecommunications harassment.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Caller wanted to notify police that a brown pit bull puppy he was watching for a friend had gone missing on the 600 block of Second Street at 4:34 a.m.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Black and white female pit-bull found along the river at 10:15 a.m. It was transported to the Animal Shelter.

DISTURBANCE: An officer was dispatched to a report of a female causing problems at the Colonial Terrace Apartments on Covington Avenue at 11:38 a.m. The tenant advised they did not want the female to return, and she was warned for trespassing.

SUSPICIOUS: An officer was dispatched to a possible shots fired call near the Pitsenbarger Park on South Street at noon. An officer checked the area, but nothing was located.

HARASSMENT: A subject was warned for telephone harassment on the 1100 block of Chevy Lane at 1:38 p.m.

UNRULY JUVENILE: Subject called to report being threatened with a knife on the 1400 block of Severs Drive at 1:48 p.m. It was found that there was no criminal threat made.

DISTURBANCE: Multiple subjects engaged in disorderly conduct, which started over on street parking issues, on the 600 block of Boal Avenue at 3:36 p.m.

SUSPICIOUS: Complainant reported a possible hit skip accident on the 600 block of South Sunset Drive at 4 p.m. No damage found to either vehicle.

DISORDERLY: Complainant advised an intoxicated female was refusing to leave a local business, FM Station on South Street, at 9:18 p.m. The female was located and warned for disorderly conduct and trespassing.

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a disturbance at the Colonial Terrace Apartments at 9:47 p.m. Female was taken back to Troy by a family member.

DISTURBANCE: Police dispatched for an intoxicated adult male acting out of control on the 500 block of Spotted Doe Trail at 11:30 p.m. Trenton S. Billet, 19, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor underage drinking and fourth-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
