Guest speaker to give Sunday Service

Church presenting ‘Adam’s Voice’

TROY — The Troy Church of the Nazarene, located at the corner of West State Route 55 and Barnhart Road, will present “Adam’s Voice” in concert on Sunday, Feb. 27, at 9:30 a.m. Adam’s Voice has been featured on Bill Gaither’s Homecoming Tourt and a John Hagee’s Christian’s Uniterd for Israel Event. The group has also performed the National Anthem at NFL, NBA, and Major League Baseball games. A freewill offering will be received.

Covington Church hold Fastnacht dinner

COVINGTON — St. John’s Lutheran Church in Covington will be preparing their annual Fastnacht dinner this Tuesday, March 1 from 5 to 6:30pm. This year will be carryout only. Meals are $5 and include chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade rolls and a donut. St. John’s Lutheran Church are located at the corner of Wall and Bridge streets in Covington.

St. Mary Church begins fish fries

PIQUA — The first of six Lenten fish fries at St. Mary Church in Piqua will be on Friday, March 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. Meals will be served in the cafeteria at Piqua Catholic for dine-in or carry out. There will also be a drive-thru to purchase meals.

Drive-thru meals will have a set menu that includes fried fish, macaroni and cheese along with cole slaw and a dinner roll. Dine-in or carry out meals will feature baked or fried fish, French fries or macaroni and cheese, cole slaw or applesauce and a dinner roll.

Adult meals will be $10, seniors and carry-out will be $9 and children 12 and under will be $8.

Serving could change to drive-thru only due to health restrictions.

Richards Chapel UMC services

TROY — Richards Chapel United Methodist Church, located at 831 McKaig Ave. in Troy, invites the community to join them for worship at 11 a.m. each Sunday.
