Troy boys team, Hunt, Swartz, Jenkins advanced to D-I district bowling

DAYTON — Troy’s Bryce Massingill rolled a 714 series at Woodman Lanes to finish second overall and lead Troy to a seventh-place finish to move on to the district tournament.

Piqua’s Dylan Jenkins and Tippecanoe’s Cameron Hunt and Dillen Swartz advanced to district as individuals.

Troy finished seventh with 3,862 total.

Massingill rolled games of 223, 233 and 258.

Tyler Stoltz rolled games of 223, 140 and 177, while Ethan Blanchard had games of 226 and 179.

Isaac Witz had games of 213 and 171, Carson Hillman rolled games of 170 and 178 and Logan Smith rolled a 143 game.

Piqua finished 12th with a 3,756 total.

Jenkins rolled games of 211, 203 and 160 for a 574 series to advance to district.

Collin Snyder had games of 158, 181 and 212 and Ethan Snyder had games of 160, 191 and 194.

Brayden Soliday had games of 202, 171 and 151, Tony Martin rolled a 166 game and Connor Bollinger had 147 game.

Tippecanoe finished 14th overall with a 3,708 total.

Hunt finished 10th overall and advanced with games of 107, 214 and 231 for a 646 series, while Swartz advance with games of 188, 244 and 159 for a 591 series.

Brenden Lupton rolled games of 161, 161 and 203 and Colin Maalouf rolled games of 154, 197 and 139.

Zach Clune rolled games of 141 and 132 and Brenden Blacketer had a 128 game.

D-II

BEAVERCREEK — Two Newton bowlers had their season end at the D-II district tournament at Beaver Vu.

Blake Reish rolled games of 165, 169 and 166 and Dalton Trucksis had games of 160, 145 and 171.
