TROY — Rick Steven Drake, age 58, was born June 18th 1962 at Stouder hospital in Troy Ohio. Rick passed away January 12th, 2021 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio due to complications with covid-19 and pneumonia.

Rick was a kind-hearted person that would have done anything for anyone and a friend to many people.

Rick grew up in Alcony, Ohio. As a child he loved riding his bicycle, swimming, working on cars, and going on family vacations. Rick graduated from Miami East High School and later became a certified heavy mechanic. He had a talent for working on things and was very mechanically inclined. He could fix anything from a weed eater to a semi.

His Hobbies including building Motors and transmissions for race cars and drag racing. He also enjoyed riding his Honda Valkyrie motorcycle, spending time with his family at the lake, and feeding and watching Birds.

Rick is survived by his loving fiance Chassidy A. Tolliver and her two children (that he claimed as his own) William A.J. Wax and William C.J. Wax of Troy, Ohio.

Also left behind are his mother Nancy Drake of Troy, Ohio and his brother Scott Drake of Kentucky.

In addition, he was preceded in death by his father Robert Drake and his brother Richard Drake.

Rick will be forever missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be on Sunday February 7th, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Redmens Hall/Club, 103 1/2 East Main St. Troy, OH.
