TROY—Troy police continue the search for Ellie Carder, the Troy Teen missing for three weeks.
Ellie, 14, allegedly went missing on Wednesday, Jan. 31; her disappearance was reported two days later on Friday, Feb. 2.
Troy Police Capt. Dominic Burnside said there is nothing new to share on the search; however, the department is still actively searching for the teen.
A volunteer lead search group was organized over the weekend to find Ellie.
“We have an open line of communication with the coordinator of this past weekend’s volunteer search group,” Burnside said to Miami Valley Today on Tuesday, Feb. 20. “If any new information arises, a press release will be posted on our department’s Facebook page.”
