Residents of the Village of Covington got an early Christmas gift in the form of a new sign located at the village’s municipal building. Village Administrator, Kyle Hinkelman, said, “As the High Street project is now completed, the Village of Covington has a brand-new downtown. The Village had an old electric sign at the Government Center that was no longer functioning, and Council determined they wanted to replace it with something that is more unique. The sign was installed just in time to be ready for the Covington Hometown Christmas event this weekend, December 2 and 3!”
