Spirit Emergency Medical Services weekly log

According to Brian K. Hathaway, Spirit EMS president/CEO, Spirit EMS was called to five emergency medical dispatch in Shelby County, mirroring the call volume of the preceding week.

All of the calls were in the Houston EMS district which includes Loramie and Washington Townships including the village of Lockington, and excluding the village of Russia.

In each of the five instances, patients requiring medical attention were transported from the scene. Russia Fire Department first responders assisted Spirit EMS at two of the scenes.

Of the patients transported, three were transported Wilson Health in Sidney; one to Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy; and one to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Mary’s.

Spirit EMS responded to 100% of its dispatched calls for the week.
