Spirit Emergency Medical Services weekly log
According to Brian K. Hathaway, Spirit EMS president/CEO, Spirit responded to five emergency medical dispatches in the Houston Joint Ambulance district from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office 911 dispatch center.
The district includes all Loramie and Washington townships including the village of Lockington and excluding the village of Russia.
Four of the five patients were transported to the hospital. One patient refused transport after being evaluated by EMS personnel at the scene of an auto accident. Firefighters from Lockington and deputies from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office assisted Spirit EMS at that scene. Of the patients transported; two were taken to Upper Valley, one to Kettering Piqua and one to Wilson Health in Sidney.
Spirit EMS responded to 100% of its dispatches last week.
