Staying on track

Donnie Knight of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service loads dirt from a large track hoe to a waiting dump truck at the site of the Duke Park Extension on Monday as work continues on the project, partnering with the Miami County Park District to create wetlands, wildlife habitat and fish area while also providing flood control for the adjacent Great Miami River. As the project nears completion, Knight is looking forward to beginning a similar wetlands project near the Great Miami River east of Tipp City off State Route 571.
