TROY — The Troy boys tennis team got past Fairborn 3-2 Thursday.

In singles, Yasashi Masunaga defeated Sam Steck 7-5, 6-3; Henry Johnston defeated Tristen Gulley 7-5, 6-1` and Cam Lambardo lost to Hayden Picarello 6-4, 6-1.

In doubles, Michael Burns and Aiden Miller lost to Jacob Kurtz and Brandon Hulbert 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 and Leo Gluck and Nathan Miller defeated Blake Landon and Uyen Nguyen 6-3, 6-1.

PIQUA — The Piqua tennis team picked up its first win of the season Thursday with a 5-0 win.

In singles, Joshua Partee defeated Julian Koogler 6-0, 6-1; Cael Barr defeated Garrett Shaw 6-1, 6-0; and PJ Huang defeated Ian Fairchild 6-1, 6-4.

In doubles, Philip Rossman and Seth Foster defeated Brynna Mardis and Arison Boswell 6-1, 6-1 and Ayden Black and Seth Staley defeated Deagen Keeney and Jordan Koskosky 6-0, 6-1.

Piqua will host the Piqua Doubles Invitational on Saturday.
