TROY — The Troy volleyball teaam improved to 15-1 and 12-0 overall with a 25-13, 25-16, 25-17 win over Xenia Thursday night.

Anna Boezi had 10 kills and six blocks and Macie Taylor had five kills, three aces and eight digs.

Kasey Sager had seven kills and four blocks and Zoe Tracey added five kills.

Ellie Fogarty had three blocks, 15 assists and nine digs and Morgan Kaiser dished out 14 assists.

Hannah Duff and Brooklyn Jackson served three aces each and Lauren Rice had 13 digs.

Piqua 3,

GREENVILLE — For the second time this week, the Piqua volleyball team avenged a loss from earlier this season.

This time the Indians knocked off Greenville 25-20, 26-24, 19-25, 25-23 to improve to 4-8 overall and 4-7 in the MVL.

“We had a big week this week,” Piqua coach Jenni Huelskamp said. “Tonight, they showed grit as they pushed through to get the win.”

Aubree Schrubb pounded 14 kills, added three blocks and had eight assists.

Emily Baker had 12 kills and 12 digs and Abby Eller dished out 23 assists and served three aces.

Reagan Toopes had 15 digs and serve two aces, Cara Reed served two aces and Camilla Nicholas had three blocks.

Covington 3,

TROY — The Covington volleyball team went on the road to get a 22-25, 25-18, 25-17, 23-25, 15-12 win over Troy Christian Thursday night.

Nigella Reck had 19 kills and seven digs and Carlie Besecker added eight kills, nine blocks and nine digs.

Lauren York had seven kills and 13 digs, Taylor Kirker filled out the stat sheet with five blocks, 41 assists, five aces and eight digs and Emmaline Kiser added nine kills, three blocks and four aces.

Kearsten Wiggins had 12 digs and Reaghan Lamp had six digs.

For Troy Christian, Sarah Johnson had 16 kills and four blocks and Hallie Fourman had 12 kills, 20 assists, four aces and 11 digs.

Kathleen Johnson had eight kills, Natalie Courter had 10 assists and 14 digs, Lilly Smith had 16 digs, Gracie Brumbaker had 14 digs and Emilee Strine had eight digs.

CASSTOWN — The Miami East volleyball team remained perfect in the TRC, curising to an easy win.

The Vikings defeated Northridge 25-6, 25-5, 25-7.

TIPP CITY — The Bethel volleyball team lost to Riverside 25-16, 25-19, 25-19 Thursday in TRC action.

PLEASANT HILL — The Netwon volleyball team defeated Franklin Monroe 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 25-14 in WOAC action.

Emma Hemphill had nine kills and three aces and Kaylee Deeter had nine kills and four aces.

Katelyn Walters had 17 kills and five blocks, Hannah Biederman had 10 kills, Ella Rapp dished out 28 assists and Maddie Walters had 10 assists.
