March 21

UNRULY JUVENILE: There was a report of a juvenile refusing to go to school. Juvenile refused to get ready several times. She was advised she would be charged with being unruly if she did not listen and go to school. Mother took her to school.

AGENCY ASSIST: Police assisted Ohio State Highway Patrol on a search on Interstate-75 near mile marker 67 at 8:43 a.m. No other issues were reported.

SCHOOL ZONE PATROL: There was a school zone patrol in the area of Westedge Drive and Bowman Avenue at 8:45 a.m. There were no issues.

CITIZEN ASSIST: An officer notified a homeowner that a raccoon was exiting her garage on Tippecanoe Drive at 2:35 p.m. She shut the garage.

HARASSMENT: A reporting party reported receiving harassing calls and text messages from a known subject. Male subject was warned for telephone harassment.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: There was a report of a hit skip traffic accident in the area of North Garber Drive and West Main Street at 5:13 p.m.

DRUG OFFENSE: Police attempted a traffic stop on I-75. The driver would not stop and got off at exit 73 in Troy at 7:27 p.m. The driver gave false information and then tried to run. Police struggled with the driver before the driver pulled away and ran. Citizens caught him and held him until Troy Police and Tipp Police got to him. The unnamed suspect was charged with driving under suspension, fleeing, falsification, resisting, and drug possession. He was incarcerated.

March 22

DRIVING WITHOUT CONSENT: A known subject was refusing to give the caller’s car back on Bellaire Drive at 2:26 p.m.

March 23

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A female caused a disturbance at work on the 1400 block of Commerce Park Drive at 11:09 p.m. The female was trying to fight with a male in the parking lot. Parties were separated, and the female was eventually released without charges.

SUSPICIOUS: Female believed people were trying to break into her house on Arapaho Trail at 2 a.m. The backyard was checked, and nobody had been back there.

CITIZEN ASSIST: There was a U-Haul left in a parking lot on private property on the 600 block of North Hyatt Street at 8:32 a.m. It was not reported at stolen. The landlord was advised they would have to have it towed if they did not want it the property.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: There was a report of three dogs loose on the West Main Street overpass at 11:13 a.m. Police were unable to locate them.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of a road rage incident on the 600 block of Larch Street at 11:46 a.m. Both parties were spoken to about the issue.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: At 1:23 p.m., males arguing at Speedway on West Main Street were warned for disorderly conduct. They calmed down and left the scene.

ACCIDENT: There was a report of a traffic accident with no injuries on East Main Street near the Tipp City Public Library at 3:15 p.m.

CIVIL: Police responded to a civil matter regarding a car on the 500 block of Bellaire Drive at 3:55 p.m.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: An officer responded to Broadway Elementary School at 4:05 p.m. An individual was upset because she couldn’t get her child from school.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: An officer was dispatched to an animal complaint on the 300 block of Evanston Road at 8:15 p.m. The officer checked the area and did not locate the dogs.

UNRULY JUVENILE: There was a report of an unruly juvenile at Arby’s on Weller Drive at 9:55 p.m.
