Troy girls, Tippecanoe’s Von Krosigk advance to D-I district bowling

DAYTON — The Troy girls bowling team and Emily Von Krosigk of Tippecanoe advanced to the D-I district bowling tournament during the sectional tournament at Poelking-Woodman Lanes Wednesday.

Troy finished fourth as team with a 3,470 total.

The Trojans were in fifth place after team games of 792, 843 and 830.

Troy moved up to fourth after rolling baker games of 180, 177, 165, 182, 171 and 130.

Kiandra Smith led Troy, finishing seventh overall.

She had games of 193, 200 and 200 for a 593 series.

Aiyana Godwin had games of 157, 205 and 180 and Chloe Steiner had games of 164, 124 and 163.

Kristin Sedam added games of 131, 178 and 135, Kayanna Bidle had games of 147 and 152 and Libby Burghardt added a 136 game.

Piqua finished 15th with a 2,857 total.

Allison Hicks led Piqua with games of 139, 142 and 161 and Katelyn Brown rolled games of 137, 146 and 141.

Kiya Treon rolled games of 109, 137 and 131 and Kaylee Eleyet rolled games of 148 and 124.

Diya Patel rolled games of 116 and 129 and Miranda Sweetman added games of 104 and 95.

Tippecanoe finished 16th with a 2,770 total.

Von Krosigk advanced as an individual with games of 200, 110 and 157 for a 467 series.

Isabeall Janney rolled games of 144, 146 and 155 and Jocelyn Gold had games of 149, 132 and 132.

Aeryn Dilbone rolled games of 127, 125 and 145 and Marissa Hollon added games 132, 111 and 102.

BOYS

D-II District

BEAVERCREEK — Newton’s Dalton Trucksis had his season end at the boys D-II district tournament at Beaver-Vu Lanes.

He rolled games of 148, 167 and 153 for a 468 series.
