Jan. 3

THEFT: An officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of Experiment Farm Road in reference to a theft of generators. A report was taken.

THEFT: There was a theft complaint in the area of East Bentley Circle and Waterloo Street. A report was taken.

THEFT: A dirt bike was reported stolen at 9 a.m. on the 1800 block of Towne Park Drive.

ACCIDENT: An officer responded at 3:13 p.m. to Wayne Street near Armand Drive in reference to a two-vehicle accident. The operator at fault was cited for reasonable control.

OVI: An officer responded at 4:35 p.m. to Speedway, located at 1475 W. Market St., in reference to a reckless operation complaint. Upon further investigation, one male was charged with OVI. The male was released to a sober driver. Case closed.

THEFT: Report taken for stolen vehicle on North Market Street. Last person known to have vehicle stated it was taken from the area of the Troy Dam with the keys in the ignition.

ACCIDENT: While on patrol, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of McKaig Avenue for the report of a private property accident involving two vehicles at 6:52 p.m. A report was taken.

ACCIDENT: While on patrol, officers were dispatched to the area of the 1300 block of West Main Street for the report of a non-injury accident involving three vehicles at 8:15 p.m. One driver was cited for marked lanes.

Jan. 4

ACCIDENT: At noon at 1298 S. Dorset Rd., the Shell gas station, an officer came in contact with subjects in reference to a private property accident report.

THEFT: An officer was dispatched to a theft complaint at 2:18 p.m. on the 500 block of Staunton Commons Drive. There are no suspects. A report was taken.

Jan. 5

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: An officer responded at 9:50 a.m. to Hook Elementary School on a report of a criminal damaging to windows at the school. A report was taken. The damage took place sometime between Dec. 17 and Jan. 5.

ACCIDENT: An accident with no injuries was reported at approximately 3 p.m. in the area of Branbury and North Dorset roads.

FRAUD: A fraud report was taken at 3:13 p.m. on the 600 block of Mumford Drive.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: Officers were dispatched at 6:18 p.m. to the 1000 block of South Market Street for the report of a hit/skip accident. Mailbox was struck and damaged. No suspect vehicle.

DRIVING WITHOUT CONSENT: An officer was dispatched at approximately 7 p.m. to a unauthorized use of a motor vehicle complaint on the 500 block of South Mulberry Street. A report was taken.

THEFT: There was a report of a license plate stolen from a truck parked behind the 500 block of West Main Street. It went missing sometime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Jan. 6

SUSPICIOUS: Troy units responded to the 700 block of South Stanfield Road in reference to a suspicious complaint at 12:28 a.m. A female, identified as Lauren M. Whitman, 32, of Dayton, was charged with criminal damaging, child endangering, and driving recklessly in connection with this incident.
