Jan. 10

HIT SKIP: An officer responded to 3 Sigma located at 1985 W. Stanfield Rd. regarding a hit skip accident involving a fire hydrant on private property at 12:38 a.m. A report was taken. This is an active investigation.

FOUND: At approximately 9:10 a.m., an officer was dispatched to an abandoned bicycle on the bike path behind Troy Lumber. Bicycle was secured and transported to Troy Police Department.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE: Troy City School garage called to report a vehicle running school bus lights at 9:29 a.m. in the area of Meadowpoint Drive and South Stanfield Road. Driver was later identified and citation will be issued for the violation.

HIT SKIP: There was a report of a hit skip crash involving a yellow Chevrolet Silverado hitting the concrete flower pots on North Market and Main Streets. Video and still images obtained. Unable to make out license plate. Records checked found multiple possible vehicles but unable to locate vehicles at this time.

UNRULY: An officer was dispatched to an unruly juvenile complaint, and a report was completed. The location was redacted.

HIT SKIP: A hit skip accident was reported at 3:55 p.m. in the area of West Water and North Elm streets.

DISTURBANCE: Police dispatched to the 1300 block of Sheridan Court for a disturbance at 4:34 p.m. Information was obtained, and a report was completed.

THEFT: An officer was dispatched to a theft in progress at Meijer at 4:35 p.m., and a report was completed. Robert L. Knight, 64, address unknown, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft in connection with this incident.

DISTURBANCE: An officer was dispatched to a disturbance at 9:51 p.m. on the 1200 block of Long Street at the Floral View Apartments. One male was cited for driving under suspension and expired plates.

FRAUD: An officer responded to Hauenstein Court regarding a fraud complaint at 11:44 p.m. A report was taken. This is an active investigation.

Jan. 11

HARASSMENT: There was a telephone harassment complaint at approximately 1 a.m. on Fairfield Road. A report was taken, and a warning was given.

FOUND: A bicycle was found on the 200 block of Penn Road at approximately 2 p.m.

HARASSMENT: An officer received a telephone harassment complaint regarding unwanted phone calls at approximately 11 p.m. on East Main Street. One adult male was warned for telecommunications harassment. A report was taken.
