SIDNEY — The Troy baseball team picked up a 3-0 win over Sidney Tuesday.

Brian Allen pitched a one-hit shutout, striking out seven and walking four.

Owen Harlamert provided Troy with the only run it would need with a solo home run in the fourth.

In the sixth inning, Ryder Kirtley reached on an error and scored on Eli Donnan’s RBI single.

In the seventh, Caleb Akins had a sacrifice fly for the final run.

Donnan was 2-for-3 and Andrew Helman had a double.

PIQUA — The Piqua baseball team got a win at Hardman Field Tuesday.

Mickey Anderson 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs.

Damien Lawson was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs and Brady Ouhl was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.

Brayden Offenbacher and Anderson combined on a two-hitter, striking out six and walking one.

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe baseball team got a five-inning won at home Tuesday.

Matt Salmon was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Tyler Minnich had three RBIs.

Max Dunaway had a home run and two RBIs and Jacob Bowerman was 2-for-2.

DJ Martin was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, Jacob Kramer was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Bryadon Bottles had a triple.

Dunaway and Rob Ellis combined on a three-hitter on the mound, striking out eight and walking three.

TROY — The Troy Christian baseball team stayed perfect in TRC action.

Gavin Blore was 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Troy Christian.

Lucas Day was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Ben Major was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Matthew Major was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Paul McDonald and Judah Simmon had two RBIs each.

Simmons pitched a two-hitter, striking out 10 and walking four.

Jake Dilley and Jensen Wagoner had hits for Covington.

Milton-Union 11,

Lehman 10

WEST MILTON — Peyton Nichols two-run walk-off double in the seventh inning erased a 10-9 Lehman lead and gave the Bulldogs the win.

Zach Lovin was 2-for-4 for Milton-Union and Nathan Morter Jr. had a RBI single in the seventh and was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Nichols had three RBIs and Micah Russell was 4-for-5 with a double.

Nathan Thompson added two RBIs.

Morter Jr. and Russell combined to strikeout 13 and walk five.

JD Barhorst had two RBIs for Lehman and Korban Schmiesing was 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs.

Schmiesing and Ethan Stiver combined to strikeout two and walk six.

DAYTON — The Miami East baseball team cruised to a five-inning win in TRC action.

Luke Hamaker was 2-for-4 and Austin Francis was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.

Connor Apple, Nathan Woolley and Cael Rose all had two RBIs.

Ethan Howell, Gage Butz and Francis combined on a two-hitter, striking out 10 and walking four.

DEGRAFF — The Bethel baseball team suffered its second loss in TRC action.

Noah McCann was 2-for-4 with a double for Bethel.

Kyle Brueckman and Braylon Schroeder combined on a 10-hitter, striking out five and walking one.

PITSBURG — The Newton baseball team topped Franklin Monroe in WOAC action.

Carson Knupp pitched a four-hitter, striking out five and walking two.

Lane Bayer was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Knupp was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, Max Blair had two RBIS and Colin Tackett was 2-for-4.
